Yuan Changming's debut novel DETACHING just released today

This (hybrid) novel, which tells a story about how Ming tries to find meaning and happiness in life afer achieving his 'Canadian Dream' as one of the first new immigrants from post-Mao China, is actually the first part of Yuan's 'dream book', a trilogy titled TOWARDS, whose second and third parts are due out via an LA-based press next year as a duology called Mabakoola: Paradise Regained.
